Abstract

Discusses that the revelations about the international nuclear trading of the Pakistani scientist Abdul Qadeer Khan have rekindled a debate inside the American intelligence community over the possibility that Pakistan conducted a secret nuclear weapons test partnership with North Korea. Confession made by the scientist that he spread nuclear skills and equipment to North Korea, Libya and Iran, over more than a decade; Report being prepared by the Central Intelligence Agency on what North Korea may have gained from the scientist's nuclear dealings.
