The historicity and potential of Jungian analysis: another view of 'SWOT'.

The author presents his own analysis of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) of Jungian analysis. Topics discussed include Carl Jung's pre-modern understanding of psyche, the concept of individuation, and the threats for psychotherapy. Also presented are some suggestions on the potential of Jungian psychotherapy in reference to the author's work with and research on thyroid patients.
