Abstract

Mosses are one of the least studied groups of plants in Kazakhstan. The article presents the results of many years (2008-2016gg) studies of bryophytes in the territory of Semey ecoregion of the East Kazakhstan region. The region of the survey covers various parts of the territory, which are different in their ecology and geographic location. It includes sections of plains, lowlands and lowlands with different humidity, vegetation cover and the percentage of projective cover. The studies were conducted by the route method. Routes of expeditionary research covered an area of about 200 square kilometers. The material of the bryophytes was herbarium and was determined under laboratory conditions. Ecological groups of mosses were established on the basis of data from the collection sites, as well as literary data for each species. As a result, for the first time complete data on ecological groups of bryophytes relative to water are given, indicating the percentage of these groups in terms of the total species diversity of the mosses in the study region. A list of the most common species of bryophytes in each ecological group is given. Based on the data analysis is done on the territory of environmental conditions of the study.
