Abstract

The article presents an overview of the Global Aerosol Synthesis and Science Project (GASSP), an initiative that aims to measure and reduce aerosol models from ships, aircrafts and ground stations. The topics discussed include the diverse kinds of aerosol instruments utilized in the GASSP, the effects of aerosol changes on atmospheric circulation, precipitation and regional climate, and the dramatic rise of sophistication in aerosol measurements.
