Abstract

Through employing the in situ acylation of N 2 H 4 with ODPA (ODPA = 4,4′-oxydiphthalic dianhydride), three diacylhydrazidate-extended coordination polymers, M(ODPTH)(H 2 O) 3 (M = Fe ( 1 ), Co ( 2 ), Ni ( 3 ); ODPTH = 4,4′-oxydiphthalhydrazidate), were obtained under solvothermal conditions. The X-ray single-crystal diffraction analysis reveals that compounds 1 , 2 and 3 are isomorphous and feature 1D double chain structures that are further connected through O–H⋯O hydrogen bonds into 3D supramolecular networks, which are stabilized by two kinds of offset face-to-face π⋯π interactions. All of title compounds were characterized by IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, X-ray power diffraction and TG analysis. Furthermore, variable-temperature magnetic susceptibilities of compounds 1 , 2 and 3 indicate that there exist antiferromagnetic interactions between Fe(II), Co(II) and Ni(II) ions, respectively.
