Abstract

In order to make students touch professional scientific frontier and better train their scientific research and innovation abilities, the research of transient evaporation rate of LNG storage tank is introduced into experimental teaching, the study on simulation experiment of transient evaporation rate of LNG storage tank based on FLUENT is carried out. The simulation experiment with FLUENT can present the changing rules of the evaporation rate of LNG under fill depth, temperature, variation of the inner diameter of LNG storage tank intuitively. The experiment can promote students' understanding. The teaching effect can be improved by the teaching experiment combined the teaching with scientific research. It is beneficial to improve students' ability of simulation, motivate students' scientific curiosity and cultivate students' ability to solve scientific research problems by experiment.
