Campus sex assault investigations have become polarized and political.

The article discusses the political aspects of investigations and lawsuits into the sexual assault of women college students on campuses. A female student from University of Oregon's lawsuit against her college for allegedly mishandling her accusation of sexual assault, including in regard to the violation of the U.S. Educational Amendments of 1972 Title IX, is discussed. The issue of consent in college student Benjamin Haug's reinstatement to State University, New York is discussed.
