Abstract
- The article reports on humanistic psychology. Topics discussed include how humanistic psychology is an uplifting, compassionate view of humanity; models of human development, the Surrender Yourself model of development, and the Fully Human model; and columnist David Brooks' model of "The Four Kinds of Happiness," according to which one is having healthy development to the extent to which one is "surrendering" oneself to others.
