Promoting a Campus Culture of Policy Debates.

The article focuses on report "The Decline of Freedom of Speech and Policy Debates on Campus," based on research conducted by Mark Yudof, president emeritus of the University of California, with a team of graduate students on the lack of debate diversity at colleges and universities in the U.S. Topics include exposing students to different perspectives on national policy issues such as affirmative action, gender identity and immigration; and responsibility of campus for intellectual diversity.
