Abstract

The relationship between morality and mysticism is discussed in the context of higher human development to enlightenment. Both mysticism and morality are declared necessary for attaining God-realization or enlightenment. Morality is defined as the foundation or launching pad for the process in which a spiritual aspirant ascends into the metaphysical realm, and mysticism is defined as the "spacecraft" for the "journey through inner space" to reach the distant "landing site" of enlightenment.
