Fashioning a Prince for All the World to See: Guaman Poma's Self-Portraits in the Nueva Corónica.

A literary criticism of the book "El primer nueva corónica y buen gobierno" by Felipe Guaman Poma de Ayala is presented. The book was reportedly produced as a letter to Spanish King Philip II and latter to Philip III wherein Goma brings his presence in the book using self-portrait and designated himself a prince.
