Abstract

Studies the mechanism of remanence acquisition on sediments. Errors created by depositional remanent magnetization and postdepositional remanent magnetization; Subtle changes in mineralogy into and out of a self-reversal region of a viscous magnetization region; Physical disturbances that may result in the remanence alteration.
