Idarucizumab for dabigatran overdose in a child.

The article presents a case of a 15-year-old female who was rushed to the emergency department due to ingestion of 30-50 150-milligram (mg) dabigatran tablets. She had previous multiple emergency department attendances due to self-harm. During initial blood tests, her coagulation profile is abnormal with prolonged international normalised ratio (INR) and activated partial thromboplastin ratio (APTR). She was successfully treated with idarucizumab.
