MAPEAMENTO DE PESQUISAS EM MODELAGEM MATEMÁTICA NA ESPANHA: RECORTE DE PRODUÇÕES CIENTÍFICAS.

The following paper displays research results that aims to understand how mathematical modeling (MM) is presented in the studies that discuss such topic in Spain. As a methodological approach, the author used the Mapping procedures in Educational Research. The data were gathered from eight papers written by Spanish researchers. They were published in periodicals, in Spanish, in Spain and/or abroad. There were five categories previously established for the analysis: (a) MM theoretical studies; (B) the research context; (C) investigated problems / research interest; (D) methodology; (E) main results and contributions to evolve the specific theme. The study identified theoretical and methodological approaches among the analyzed studies and shows that the core of the research is focused on students and teachers' thoughts, perceptions and actions during the MM process.
