Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 72-year-old man underwent a robotic high anterior resection for a colovesical fistula secondary to diverticular disease. His computed tomography (CT) features of a phlegmon with associated obstructive uropathy. It mentions ureteric catheters were placed via cystoscopy after induction of general anaesthesia and commencing the colorectal procedure and prevent iatrogenic ureteric injury during robotic colorectal surgery.
