Abstract
- After the disintegration of the USSR, old communists (new liberals) formed the politics of liberalism. In their opinion, everything that occurred during the time of the USSR is bad, and even the state ideology of the USSR was bad because for the state it is impossible to form an ideology. I would like to raise a question in this paper: Is it necessary for Russia to have a state ideology? Having denied totally its previous period, the Russian society now searches ways to overcome the present ideological disintegration. In fact, now the present government often begins to overlook the question whether it is necessary to find a new world outlook and to develop a new ideology to solve the problems of arrangement of the Russian state. In the 90's the socialist idea has undergone fierce attacks by the representatives of the liberals. Arming itself with the ideology of liberalism they try to defend democratic Opposition in slogans of political democracy, pluralism, a lawful state and a civil society. This article attempts an analysis of the basic ideological doctrines used by the supreme circles of the Russian authority between 1992 and 1999. In this vein, a sociopolitical analysis of post Soviet Russia is presented. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
