Abstract

The article reports on the impact of MeToo movement on the bond between public radio and their listeners whom they also depend for financial contributions. Among the popular public broadcasting figures who were affected by the movement were Garrison Keillor, Leonard Lopate, Jonathan Schwartz, and John Hockenberry. WNYC, a non-profit, noncommercial, public radio station, lost 577 members due to news about Lopate and Schwartz.
