One of the most important activities of Amir Temür was the reconstruction of Beylaqan city that was demolished and became deserted in the Mongols period. The engineers of the period were charged in the construction of the city. Amir Temür, principally, mirzas and the notables of the period contributed to the construction activities. The period's historians reported that Baylaqan's construction was completed within one month despite bad weather conditions and water was brought into the city. Amir Temür paid attention to establish social justice and punished severely corrupt officials.
