UM OLHAR REVERSO: DA ALDEIA PARA UNIVERSIDADE.

This manuscript aims to reflect on the methods used in ethnographic research. The analyses are the outcome of my academic, personal and professional trajectory, resulting in a dialogic reflection with other authors of this field of knowledge. Here I will use my empirical experiences and livingness inside and outside the village - as an indigenous, a research object and as a researcher. In the final considerations, I make an invitation to new reflections, especially for the need to break the distance that usually exists between the researcher and the researched, the subject and the object of ethnographic research.
