String Student Practice Journals.

The article presents the views of Margretta Williams, instrumental music teacher at Apple Grove Elementary School in Fort Washington, Maryland, on the role played by practice journals for string students. Topics discussed include bringing journals to every class session, excellent opportunity for self-reflection of their practice, and providing students a large-scale perspective.
