Abstract
- Scholarly publishing is rarely examined as a global contributor to a field of research. But its value as a map to the evolution of a discipline can be inestimable. The output of journals can be the key to understanding shifts in perspective and, in the case described in the following essay, may ultimately provide an overview of an instance in the development of Canadian literature.
