Abstract
- The article discusses the U.S. President Donald Trump's rhetoric on retaliating against Syrian, Iran and Russia for the Syrian military's alleged chemical weapons attack on Douma, Syria on April 7, 2018, amidst the Syrian Civil War. An overview of Trump's rhetoric on having the U.S. military conduct airstrikes on targets in Syria, including in regard to his perspective on the responsibility of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad for the chemical attacks, is provided.
