The article focuses on the move of Houston, Texas-based leading disposal and recycling solutions provider Waste Management to replace its chiller plants to serve its production data center facility. The move is in response to the need for efficient heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) in data centers to ensure cost-effective, reliable operation given servers generate significant amounts of heat. Pre-connections were also made in advance to mitigate risk to the data center.
