Abstract

The article discusses the biasing network structure for high power amplifier (PA) low-frequency stability. It cites the challenges of achieving low-frequency amplifier stability and the components of a conventional biasing structure of a PA and the mathematical representation of the low-frequency equivalent of a PA without gate-biasing network. The tradeoffs between low-and high-frequency conditions that shape the structure of a biasing network are also cited.
