Abstract
- The article focuses on the product demonstration of an autonomous vehicle conducted by Drive.ai, a startup from Silicon Valley, California that plans to operate a fleet of self-driving taxis in a limited area of Frisco, Texas beginning in July 2018. Topics covered include significance of the product demonstration in line with the death of a pedestrian in March 2018 after a self-driving car operated by Uber hit her, and the origins of Drive.ai which was founded by roboticist Carol Reiley.
