Abstract

The article offers information on the surgery for perihilar cholangiocarcinoma. Topics discussed include its risk factors such as sclerosing cholangitis and lifetime cancer; usage of abdominal Computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP) in the diagnosis; and the issues relating to the increased carbohydrate antigen in patients.
