Congruência em conversões de registros de representação semiótica: análise orientada pela noção de relevância.

We analyze in this study the notion of congruence in conversions of registers of semiotic representation. For that, we apply the relevance-theoretic comprehension procedure to describe and explain the conversion of three propositions from natural language to the algebraic and graphical registers. The analyzes suggest that the notion of congruence must be better understood in relative terms, so that conversions may be more congruent or less congruent according to the set of inferences required in the task, the registers of representation at stake, the direction of the conversion, the required level of explicitness of formalization, and the mastery of the involved formation rules.
