Abstract
- The article focuses on the use of cosmological simulations in helping refine theories of cosmology and galactic development. It states supercomputers are being used to simulate and predict galactic development, including how early galaxies were shaped like pickles, and that spiral galaxies can survive intergalactic collisions. It talks about simulating the interaction between baryonic matter, dark matter, and dark energy. It mentions how gas flows into galaxy follow dark matter filaments.
