Abstract
- The land occupation in Brazil has been an important instrument on the process of the struggle for landagrarian reform and of rural settlements, therefore enabling the peasantry to appropriate from a fraction of the capitalist territory. In this way, recognizing the land occupation as a fundamental strategy to the formation of the Rural Settlements Projects and consequently to the recreation of the peasantry, this paper aims to analy the formation of the Nova Esperança Camp, a space of important struggle on the formation of the Assentamento Primavera II, located on the municipality of Mirandópolis State of São Paulo. Specifically, we analyzed the trajectory and memories of the rural settlement members, highlighting the difficulties experimented under the black canvas. Theoretically, this work is based on authors that have been dedicating to study the agrarian theme that is still not resolved in Brazil, and the peasantry as a social class that raises and reproduces itself from the contradictions on the capitalist development. Beyond the bibliographical analysis, we used as methodological approach the fieldworks, having as main instrument the interviews. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
