Abstract: The article focuses on dealing with the different vernaculars spoken by library patrons and staff or linguistic diversity. Topics discussed include benefit of linguistic diversity, ways to incorporate racially different language into daily library functions, and significance of racial literacy and linguistic diversity to inclusive academic environment and meaningful information literacy.
