Tension Pneumothorax During Apnea Testing for the Determination of Brain Death.

The article presents a case study of tension pneumothorax as a complication of apnea test (AT) in a 17-year-old male brain death (BD) patient. He went into cardiac arrest secondary to decreased saturation during dialysis. He was declared death after cardiopulmonary resuscutation maneuvers failed. The article discusses BD diagnosis via apnea test and its complications.
