Based on engineering education reform requirements and contemporary college students' characteristics, the paper analyzes the feasible path of practical teaching reform. In order to resolve the contradiction between highly demanding of civil aviation professional practice and condition limits of security factors, the information technology and virtual simulation technology are used to establish the practical teaching system based on the student-centered idea. Practical teaching reform with civil aviation characteristics not only improves the quality of talent cultivation, but also widely promotes teaching achievements and provides valuably practical exploration to civil aviation development.
