Abstract

The article discusses a study on the use of antiepileptic drug treatment and dementia risk factors. Noted is the progressive mental decline in the older people with dementia as well as the risk for higher doses of antiepileptic drugs (AEDs). Information is also provided on the epidemiological study of health care databases from Finland and Germany.
