Abstract
- In this research article I examined two tales by Isaac Asimov, namely: What is the human being? and the bicentennial human being. What I am working toward is two purposes in this paper. Firstly, to show the enriching link that exists between literature and moral philosophy. Secondly, from the two tales mentioned above, I wonder if some specific types of robots might have moral rights. The methodology I used to respond to both purposes is referring to "conceptual analysis" from the analytical philosophy. The result I am expecting is the conclusion that some types of robots, under certain theoretical conditions might aspire to have moral rights. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
