Abstract

The human right to health is a constant concern, which goes back to the tenderest times of humanity. Health, in the perspective of contemporary society - and consumption, is a right for all and for all, referring to the idea of quality of life, which is the greatest good of every human being. Following this idea, this article aims to foster a reflection on the interference of the current consumer society, under the guise of Jean Baudrillard, in the effectiveness of public health, especially in relation to the existing risks and that hinder access to the human right to Cheers. In this context, it is verified, through a bibliographic study that follows the deductive method, the possibility of recognizing the individual as a consumer of public services, especially public health services, so necessary and urgent in guaranteeing and maintaining the very personal right to life.
