Abstract: The article cities a research study on generating a tailored two-dimensional (2D) coherent surface plasmon polariton (SPP) field distribution. It is said that the ability to tailor a SPP field can help in a broad range of nanophotonic applications. The inherent constraints in a 2D coherent field distribution were revealed in the study.
