Abstract

One of the great challenges of this twenty-first century is the search for solutions that lead to respect for religious diversity as a human person fundamental right and the guarantee of the exercise of freedom of thought and of professing or not a faith, individually or collectively. This article intends to publicize from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and a series of other International Documents that guarantee the universalization of these rights. Furthermore, it aims to present the school environment as an appropriate locus for the formation of recognition, acceptance and respect for differences and diversities values, with a view to the basic formation of the citizen and the construction of a culture of peace among people, since no change becomes really effective if it does not go through the education bias.
