Abstract

This paper adopted virtual instrument technology to realized the visualization and control of the quiescent operating point Q by using LabVIEW-Multisim. The impact of quiescent operating point setting on start-oscillation characteristics, including start-oscillation time, oscillation amplitude and stability of oscillation frequency were displayed in real time. This paper also realized the automation of experiment data measurement, recording and plotting by using the powerful data collection and processing function of LabVIEW. The amount of LC oscillator start-oscillation process that can't be measured by physical instrumentation was displayed intuitively and clearly in the virtual instrument panel developed by the authors. It greatly improved the efficiency of the experiment, practiced the teaching idea of " transforming abstraction into concrete" advocated by engineering subject. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
