Abstract
- The article offers information on a study regarding impaired recovery of the Great Barrier Reef (GBR) under cumulative stress. It mentions that that loss of recovery capacity was partly explained by the cumulative effects of chronic pressures including water quality and sublethal effects of disturbances. It states that recovery of digitate acroporids and pocilloporids is sensitive to physical damage, while branching and tabular acroporids are sensitive to chronic effects of thermal stress.
