Abstract
- The article discusses an experience of Hale County Texas-based farmer Bryan Curry who planted dryland canola in his farm, an alternative crop to wheat. It gives an information for spring canola and winter canola, how to grow it and its use for oil and meal. It also discusses challenges to grow new crop due to its taproot system and harvesting process.and also discusses how it can be an alternative to the wheat crop.
