Abstract

The article reports that the Russian military intelligence unit that sought to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election have targeted conservative U.S. think tanks that have broken with U.S. President Donald Trump. Topics mentioned include websites seized by technology group Microsoft Corp. that were made by hackers in Russia, websites found by Microsoft that imitate the U.S. Senate, and programs promoted by the Hudson Institute that examine the rise of kleptocracy in world governments.
