Abstract: The article discusses tuberculosis (TB) as one of the death-causing disease and the hindrance in the eradication and management of TB due to the emergence of the conditions of extensively drug-resistant TB (XDR-TB) and multi-drug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB). It also discusses the TB burden of China 2016 conventional World Health Organization (WHO) regimen for the treatment of MDR-TB.
