Finding Better Ways to Prevent Postpartum Hemorrhage.

The article presents randomized controlled trials of strategies on how to prevent postpartum bleeding as cause of death in low-income countries. Evaluation on the intramuscular injection of oxytocin which that does not need cold-chain transport after vaginal delivery, is highlighted. An overview on the method and results of the trials, is also provided.
