LAS TRANSFORMACIONES DEL DERECHO PÚBLICO ESPAÑOL DURANTE LA TRANSICIÓN DEMOCRÁTICA (1975-1978).

This paper aims to comment the main changes operated in the Spanish public legal system from the Dictator Francisco Franco's death to the adoption of the Constitution of 1978. In this way, the measures adopted by the Government of President Adolfo Suarez regarding the legalization of political parties and amnesty, as well as the implications of Law 1/1977, of 4January, for the Political Reform, and the contents of the Spanish Constitution that respond to the peculiar situation in which its elaboration took place, are analyzed after specifying the main characteristics of the referred period from a historical perspective.
