Abstract

With the technology age, life has started to flow much faster. While trying to keep pace with this rapid flow, sometimes you can become very bored with the necessary jobs, tasks, etc. in the fields of everyday life. This leads to poor performance. The best way to find a solution to this problem is gamification. Gamification not only helps you to perform a tasks but also increase the performance to the highest level. Gamification, which can be used in every field, has also started to be applied in the field of librarianship recently. By making the operations in libraries enjoyable, the performance of libraries is greatly improved by gamification. In this paper it is researched and explained that the meaning of gamification, its used period, its feature and applications of gamification in libraries.
