Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 57-year-old African American male who was diagnosed with invasive anorectal mucosal melanoma. It mentions the medical history of the patient and notes the pathological examination and diagnosis of the melanoma using brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), positron emission tomography scan and meta-analysis. Information on the determination of overall survival after surgical excision is also given.
