Abstract
- Stark shifts in the (0,0) bands of the [12.7] <f>3Π2</f>–[0.1] <f>3Δ3</f> and [13.9] <f>3Π1</f>–[0.9] <f>3Δ2</f> systems of 102RuC were analyzed to produce the magnitude of the permanent electric dipole moments, <f>|μ|</f>, for RuC in the [0.1] <f>3Δ3</f>, [0.9] <f>3Δ3</f>, [12.7] <f>3Π2</f>, and [13.9] <f>3Π1</f> states of 1.95(2), 1.86(2), 3.58(3) and 3.44(3) D, respectively. A comparison is made with ab initio predictions for RuC, and with experimental results for isovalent FeC and with RuN. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
