Abstract

The main aim of this study was to investigate the effect of sildenafil on maternal hemodynamics in pregnancies complicated by severe early-onset fetal growth restriction (FGR). The maternal blood pressure (BP), heart rate (HR), augmentation index (AIx), pulse wave velocity (PWV), cardiac output (CO), stroke volume (SV) and total peripheral resistance (TPR) were recorded before, one hour after, and 48-72 hours post-randomisation, and postnatally.
