Abstract

A primigravida was referred to our centre for a fetal peri-orbital tumour diagnosed at third trimester scan. Antenatal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) at 33 GW showed iso- to hyper-intense areas inside the lesion with no anomalies of T1 and T2 signal and no optic nerve involvement. A wide variety of lesions may develop around the orbit including benign or malign tumours, vascular and inflammatory lesions. [Extracted from the article]
