Abstract

The electrical resistivities of <f>Fe72(NixPt1-x)28</f> alloys at high pressure have been measured as a function of temperature <f>T(K)</f> in the range of <f>77.4<T<400 K</f>. The main result is that Martensitic transition temperature <f>TM</f> and Curie temperature <f>Tc</f> in <f>x=0.2</f> decreased with increasing pressure. The pressure derivatives are <f>dTc/dP=-85.7 K/GPa</f> and <f>dTM/dP=-37.8 K/GPa</f>. From this result, it is suggested that <f>TM</f> becomes to be the same as <f>Tc</f> under high pressure. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
